What is a Game Collective?
A Game Collective is a group of gamers who come together to build a community. Every member gets a vote in the operation of the organization.
What will the Collective Do?
The Collective is working to open a community run game store in the Downtown Amherst Area. We are drawing on our experience with other game stores to make a home for residents of the Amherst area as well as students of the Five Colleges and other local schools.
How do I get involved?
There are many ways to help out. The easiest is to buy a membership to help us with the start up costs. We will also need help moving equipment and merchandise as well as help running the new store once it opens.
When is the new store opening?
The new store is opening in February of 2008.
